Jeffrey Beers is an award-winning furniture designer whose work is renowned for its sophistication and innovation. His designs have been featured in leading publications such as Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Interior Design. Beers is known for his creative use of materials and his ability to create custom pieces that combine modern and classic aesthetics. He is particularly celebrated for his ability to create pieces that are both functional and stylish. Beers has been designing furniture for over 30 years and has been honored by numerous organizations for his work. He has received both the Interior Design Hall of Fame Award and the American Society of Interior Designers Kravet Award. Beers has also been recognized for his work in hospitality design, having won the Hospitality Design Platinum Circle Award in 2009. Beers’ designs are featured in a variety of luxury residential and commercial spaces around the world. He is also the founder of Jeffrey Beers International, a design firm that focuses on hospitality design and interior architecture. His designs have been used to create some of the most iconic spaces in the world, including the St. Regis and the MGM Grand. Beers’ philosophy is rooted in the idea that furniture should be both beautiful and functional, and his designs reflect this. He is passionate about creating pieces that are timeless and that will become instant classics. Jeffrey Beers was an architect, designer, and artist whose distinctive work brought emotion to modernism. He studied architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design while experimenting with glassblowing.
These foundational disciplines instilled in him a dynamic use of space, subtle materiality, and tailored elegance that would become integral to his work. He quickly expanded into large scale projects; hotels, resorts, and residences, creating some of the most iconic spaces in New York and beyond.
Beers passed away early in 2024 leaving a design legacy that has yet to be fully assessed, and which will continue to evolve for decades to come.
